We are delighted to announce our fifth exhibition, Tightrope, featuring four prominent emerging artists – Edmond Brooks-Beckman, Fungai Benhura, Suleman Khilji and Zearo – exploring the relationship between the process of making, layering and developing materials.
Each artist has a unique relationship with their craft, utilising a significant period of time for thought, experimentation, freedom of expression and layering. All of their works intertwine multiple materials which reveal the unique expressions of each artist through every piece.
The works will be exhibited in a very unique space, which contrasts a clean white wall aesthetic with rough textured floors and ceilings. In the process the venue will form part of the conversation. Through two figurative and two more abstract, mark making artists the relationship of texturising, scratching and observing will be explored.
